Welcome to Duxbury Boys Youth Lacrosse!

Duxbury Youth Lacrosse produces lacrosse players who have great attitudes, are coachable, have excellent fundamental skills, and enjoy their teammates.

We are a strong town program with a commitment to boys who live in Duxbury from Kindergarten to 8th grade.  We establish grade-level teams, (as opposed to age-based teams) which means our boys play with their classmates.  We feel that youth sports, when done properly, is a  contributing factor the a class grade that respects one another and builds lifelong friendships and memories.  Our volunteer coaches serve with a passion for youth sports and a desire to support the development of all players.

Our program believes that youth should be given the opportunity to try multiple sports and that diversity of athletics and other activities is important.  Lacrosse is geared toward the spring season where we form grade-level teams with exceptional coaching.  In addition to the main spring season, for grades 3rd-8th, we offer ample opportunity to practice and gain confidence during an optional fall session and indoor winter session, both with top level coaching.

With 350 players and over 40 coaches, Duxbury Youth Lacrosse is a well organized youth sports program that produces confident and skilled players who have a firm understanding of how a team can succeed - together.

Duxbury Youth Lacrosse was started by Burke Walker in 1988 after he gave his son a stick and started getting the neighborhood kids together to toss the ball around.  It grew rapidly and before long, Duxbury was known among the best teams in Long Island and Baltimore.  What began organically has become a tradition of both success and fun.  Welcome to the tradition where we lead by example, let the kids play for fun and competition, and work to instill good values in our players and their parents!
